As a young cricketer, Gordon represented England Under 19 prior to playing professionally for Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

Prior to his more recent work in Executive Coaching, Gordon worked with England Cricket as Head of Elite Coaching Development, and the RFU as Head of Professional Coach Development.
